We’ve tried to include as much information as we can on this website in order to make ordering blinds as simple as possible. We’ve compiled a list of the most frequently asked questions that we hear. How long does it take for the blinds to be fitted from the date of ordering?
Depending on which type of blind you order, our blinds can take anything between one week and four weeks to manufacture and fit. This varies at different times of the year as demand changes. Our busy periods are usually on the build up to Christmas.
Will your fitters show me blind samples when they give me a quote?
Yes certainly, our fitters carry hundreds of different samples of each blind type. They’ll be happy to chat through your options and give you prices on whichever blinds you require.
What deposit will I need to pay?
All our blinds are made to measure. Your blinds are made just for you to the exact measurements of your home or office. We take a minimum of 25% deposit on vertical blinds and roller blinds and 50% deposit on all other blind types.
When is the balance due?
The balance is due on the day of fitting,
What payment methods do you accept?
We accept cash, cheques, Paypal, bank drafts, credit and debit cards ( excluding American Express)
Do you offer payment terms?
We offer 12 months interest free credit when you spend £250 or more. The offers is subject to status and does include a credit check.
Do I need to be present when my blinds are fitted?
Somebody needs to be present, if you’re unable to be there yourself then a friend, neighbour or relative is fine as long as they’re over the age of 18 and can pay the balance on your behalf.
Do bay windows count as 3 blinds on your offers?
If you’ve seen our special offers, a 3 section angled bay windows do count as 3 blinds. If your bay has more than 3 sections then this is classed as a bay window and may need a different solution. Our fitters are happy to advise when they provide a free quote.
How long is the guarantee on your blinds?
Our blinds carry a 12 months guarantee. Our Vogue headrails carry a ten year guarantee.
What happens if something goes wrong?
We’re a family run business, we take customer care very seriously, If, in the unlikely event that something doesn’t go to plan then we have a system in place to ensure that any problem is rectified with the minimum of fuss. Please call our customer care number on 01942 863990.
Can I wash my blinds?
Only some vertical blind fabrics are washable. If you require a washable fabric then please make this known to your fitter. Any other fabric can be cleaned with a sponge and mild detergent and water solution.
Are your blinds child safe?
Yes, you can choose from child safety cleats or in some cases our blinds can be supplied with child safe wands which completely removes the need for cords and chains.
Do I need to take my old blinds down before you fit my new ones?
If you are able to take your blinds down then that would be a great help and speeds up the installation time. If however you’re unable to take them down beforehand then our fitters will be happy to do this.
Do you repair blinds?
If the blinds were made and supplied by us then we will repair or replace them if they are still in warranty. As blinds are component based, it’s often more cost effective to replace the mechanism and in some cases the whole blind. We don’t repair blinds supplied by any other company only because our components may not be compatible with other systems and vice versa. We also sell blind spares in our online shop.

Do you do commercial blinds?
Yes we do, we supply and fit blinds in offices, factories, showrooms, hospitals, surgeries, schools and public buildings. We’re happy to work alongside contractors or direct.
